Do you have a particular piece of clothing that makes you feel especially great?
My sister works at a lingerie store that runs by the philosophy that the perfect bra can boost your self esteem, raise confidence and just make you feel awesome when you wear it. I was skeptical at first, but after getting a few of these “superior” (and pricey) bras, I can’t help but feel like they’ve caught on to something.
So, ladies (and gentlemen too, I suppose): Do you have a particular garment that you just love to wear? That makes you feel extra confident or sexy? It can be anything, from a skirt to a pair of boots to, of course, an undergarment. Or are you more of a believe of the idea that “it’s what’s on the inside that counts”?

yeah, my green beanie snow hat. its awsome i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it. when i wear it with my moutain dew t shirt and my green backpack, its amazing. kuz my eyes are green…yeah…^.^
A well fitted Armani suit really do wonders to your self-esteem. . .
Yes, I think the right clothing can really make a difference in how you feel.

I feel my best in sexy lingerie that fits just right and hugs my curves. Sometimes, I’ll wear a pair of heals along with it and my girlfriend just gets that ‘look’ in her eyes that makes me feel incredibly beautiful and sexy. I love that feeling and what happens after!
Yeah I have a couple outfits that I look the best in, where every fiber matches, I’m trying to make my whole wardrobe like that.
I have a shirt that makes me feel great whenever I wear it. It’s black with elbow-length sleeves, and has ruffles on the sleeves and down the front. I wear it with skinny jeans and ankle boots.
I have this tight-fitting tan-colored Abercrombie & Fitch shirt with hot pink lettering on it. It’s so gay and I LOVE it. Makes me feel so sexy. :)
Also, I always feel good when I wear a ringer-tee.
I hate when I’m wearing something I love and feel great in and I look in the mirror to suddenly realize I don’t really look that great. Ha!
i have a Mandarin Style Fine Linen Tibetan Made Shirt…the kind where the buttons go side ways across the chest and then down the side…it is unbelievably comfortable and still looks rather formal and elegant…plus exotic as you don’t see many westerners wearing them around town…lol
I got measured properly for a new bra and felt wonderful afterwards, I am now a 38 E and proud and loving the fact my boobs are pert and pointing in the right direction!!
I also have a fabulous black dress that I love wearing because it shows my curves and boobs off really well!!
If you feel confident in something that more often than not you’ll be more confident in yourself :)
I feel especially great in my pajamas!

I love my glasses, I don’t have to wear them all the time but i usually do anyway. I also love my zip up Mr. rogers style sweaters and track jackets. And the only shoes I practically wear are Sanuks. They the most comfortable thing i have ever worn. I walked at least 7 hours through Paris with friends and my feet never got sore.
I have a pair of jeans that my girlfriend thinks I look really good in
I haven’t found clothes that fit me like this yet :-(
I have some silk underwear I love to wear during special outings, The Wife has a special Bra that is a push up that makes this one Dip-Dress look Ravishing!
@lynneblundell I’m sure you’ll find clothes that fit nicely eventually! Maybe you should get yourself a bra at the store where my sister works, haha.

My hiking boots because the only time I’m wearing them is when I’m hiking, and it’s then that I am always very happy. Runner up would be my flannel pajamas. They are so soft and comfortable that I cannot help but feel nice and relaxed.

@phil196662 oh i’ve got an outfit – jeans and a fun shirt.
Not a particular article of clothing, but an outfit: a white button-down shirt with a loose, black paisley tie, rolled up sleeves, dark denim jeans, my plain jane adidas, and a black pinstripe vest… It’s my “signature” look, so to speak. Some folks have said it makes me look like a Jonas Brother, but whatever, it makes me feel attractive :-)
relaxed: when I get to kick back and wear my L.L. Bean wicked good slippers and know
I have no where to be and can just lounge at home
sexy: certain undergarments come to mind, ha ha
also my black suede ankle boots, because they are hot yet very comfortable to walk in
happy: my big snow boots because…. I love snow, and wearing these means +4”

A pretty smile and a warm heart goes a long way to making any outfit just beautiful.
I do. Normally, I don’t think too much about clothes.. I have way too much other stuff going on in my head to have time to worry about that. Also, I have an odd body shape and it’s ego-deflating and frustrating to shop for clothes, in general.
However, I am so in love with my pea coat that I got last winter. It fits me in the most perfect, flattering way that is normally impossible for me to find, so I feel really good wearing it. I know it makes me look sharp, adult, and classy. I feel almost like a different person when I wear it, much more confident.
Actually, and this is going to sound really silly, but I feel like I channel the super hot Agent Dunham when I wear it. I wish I could wear it year-round, to be honest!
