Stumbleupon says my email address is invalid.

I tried starting an account with “Stumbleupon”. When I entered my email address (and then a couple more), it said that they were not valid email addresses. Why?

It you started typing and then it popped up to auto fill, just type the whole thing in yourself. I had that problem.
