Delete your cookies for anything “Google” or “Youtube”.
@johnpowell and what will that do? delete both accounts?
@johnpowell yea but this isnt my problem. i can log out of the youtube account no problem, but when i sign back in using my email address, its only bringing me to the ONE account (the newest). it doesnt let me pick which account i want. and they both have different passwords, but when i log in using the password for the old account it says “doesnt match!”
try signing in with the username and not the email
@WCUBassBone1 i did. nothing works. i tried signing out of everything and back in with both names. no matter what it ONLY lets me in to the new account! this is not good. i have ALL my stuff/favorites/comments/friends/uploads on the other account!!! this new one was for a specific video type and now i cant get back! why would they do this!?
That is the correct answer WCU…nicely done. unless of course it isn’t working for future. sorry…I should read all replies before replying. Still…that should be the answer. I’d try clearing cache and cookies as JP suggested.
@TheLoneMonk its not though! i cant do that. it doesnt let me sign in with the username!
@futurelaker88 Can you search for your channel to see if it’s still there?
@TheLoneMonk yea its still there. i can see it when i search and all my videos are still there and work.
You need to contact the Help section on youtube, you should have created an extra email to use for the other one you created!
@phil196662 why though!? i have a different user name. i always log in with the user name NOT the email!!! and they have no help to contact. no number, no chat. just PRE inserted questions that dont include this problem
It looks like you found a bug.. Report it and wait for the horrific tech support Google has.
@johnpowell what if i just delete the NEW account i made. will that leave me only able to log into the old one you think? or will it erase both? it cant erase a different account (diff username) if i delete the account im logged in to can it?

@phil196662 i called that number already. it has nothing to do with youtube (nor does it mention it at all) and when i waited through the whole speach and number maze, it said “unfortunately we do not offer live help over the phone, go to our website help center.”
well this is even worse now. i deleted the new one, and now youtube wont even let me back to the logon page at all!!! it says “your account has been permanently disabled!” WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER ACCOUNT!?!?!?! lol this is pissing me off!
What happens in a different browser?
Relax… when you delete something there system might take 24 hours to decide what to do- like re-connect to your old account! You might want to post something here “Bug Reports & Technical Issues ” and then see if you can get them to straighten it out.
you might not be able to acess anything until tomorrow.
same thing. once in notices i try to log in with that email address it tell me my account was deleted. but my old account is still active. i just searched again and my page is there WITH all the videos!
@futurelaker88 – Just remember tomorrow if you can login to your old account to Change your password and have it verify your email addy so the system knows it’s the right one!
I didn’t think it allowed you to use the same email address for different accounts…shows how much I know about this
