the only creepy message I ever got was from you
I recieved my first one yesterday….I made a crude joke on their page…maybe not the best way to handle it…bit it’s done.
There was that one guy with some sort of hand fetish? Or some other fetish? I don’t remember, which is a mark of how much impact it made on me. Otherwise, no, I haven’t.
No, but blondesjon spammed my message box last night. Shun
Not from the opposite sex, but I received a creepy message from someone of the same sex:

He pretended to be interested in talking to me and then asked me for pictures of my genitalia. My reaction was just to post that question, but within a few minutes, the guy was banned.
I guess it’s different from receiving a creepy message from an established user; this was just some account that lasted for like an hour or so and then disappeared. I’ve received some strange ones from other non-established users, but none were as gross or disturbing as the one I mentioned above.
Yeah, a lot of times. I don’t know what sex the people were though. Avatars aren’t too good for that. I just ignore them. One of my favorites was “Your cool!”. That was all it said. Sigh, if they had only known I’m a sucker for correct spelling and punctuation they might have had a chance…
From the unlamented departed Jack Adams. He accused me of being a male pedophile. That took some imagination, I thought.
And several others who thought that I would be charmed by locker-room language.
So basically what you guys are saying is we should turn Fluther into a dating website?
We already have a few profiles that read like a dating profile anyways.
avvooooooo .. I like the way your pants fall on your legs.
No, but I’m looking forward to the first one.
Oh voo, I love you. I want you with no clothes on and to smell your hair and juggle monkeys with you and watch you when you sleep.
For me, just compliments, nothing creepy at all.

Someone once said he wanted to “skull-fuck” me, but that was same-sex.
@avvooooooo am I right in guessing that this question was prompted by a creepy message you received yourself?
Yes, a couple.
One was from a guy that was sending disturbing messages to quite a few people, trying to engage them in an off-kilter dialogue that only got worse. Several of us kind of asked around in PMs and found out that he was doing the same thing with a number of people. I think I alerted a mod, and as I recall the mods were already on the case.
Another time I just returned a very cool “not interested” message and got back a “sorry.” That was that.
@holden Not me, but someone who will remain nameless.
@timtrueman Little do you know, but you already have a dating website.
@Darwin I think its the people with fetishes and fetishes about fetishes that are the most likely to send creepy things.
@Saschin I… like the way your nose looks on your face.
@La_chica_gomela They think your flower is purdy. ;)
@DominicX Yeah, not too far from it.
@gailcalled Lovely!
@delirium Yay! Can’t wait!
Yes.
and @asmonet is always sending me creepy messages.
Hahaha, oh my, yes.
I got one who was vaguely threatening and a handful that have been inappropriate or just plain pervy. I ust sort of laugh and move on.
Cash is always begging for them.
I got an odd message, and wasn’t sure if they were hitting on me, but I am a terrible judge of that kind of thing. I figured they were just really really friendly, and really, really liked what I wrote.
@avvooooooo I like the way your face looks on your nose.
I never get any creepy messages. :-(
I’ve never gotten creepy messages on here, but then again, as in real life, I’m not the sort to draw them to myself.
@ChazMaz I like the way your nose whistles when you sleep.
My husband received a death threat once from someone that was here for a short time. This person mentioned me also, saying “your pretty wife too”. This same person sent a message to me that just read “surprise!”. Blondesjon just ignored it and deleted the messages. This person deleted their account shortly after.
Flattering, yes. Creepy, no.
@laureth He sent Jon at least 7 messages. With each message he grew angrier. I’m guessing because Jon wasn’t responding to him. Very creepy indeed.
No one ever stalks me or sends me creepy or suggestive messages other than avoooo.
:(
@Darwin I remember that person!
They creeped me out. o.o
@john65pennington Your comment is inappropriate on this question and compltely irrelevant to it.
@Austinlad: I want to dance barefoot in your beard.
@janbb: You doubt my sincerity?
@janbb: Guilt by association, always.
Not yet, but I’m still hopeful.
I would be delighted to receive unexpected messages from flutherites who feel like they have some realistic sense of who I am. Creepy not required or desired.
I wouldn’t say it was “creepy” but @avvooooooo ‘s messages are very very interesting.. especially the ones that involve bondage, lingerie and peanut butter.
Same sex. It was this guy talking about cheating on his wife or something like that. I expressed shock in his question that he would even think of such a thing. Next thing I know, I’m getting a PM from him which basically said, “Why? Do you want some action?”. I quickly gave him an outraged PM, after which he quite sulkily responded, “It wasn’t as if I was serious” (I didn’t believe him).
All in all, that was the first and last time I’ve experienced such a thing.
Strangely enough, I can’t find his PMs now.. Maybe they got deleted…?
I have only received nice messages so far.
@chyna: I could faux stalk you if it makes you feel better. :^)
@cprevite I sent her a rude message just so she didn’t feel left out. ;)
Nope. The only creep that came ‘a callin was in chat and I don’t go there anymore.
I did get a message once that told me I was “retartet” and I should “write a book on bein retartet.” from an apparent male.
I welcome creepy messages from the opposite sex though.
No but hope springs eternal!(just kidding, just kidding!)
Remember the guy who asked about people seeing his “junk” in sweatpants? Well, I got him to send me pictures. So actually I guess I asked for it.
The shots were actually kinda hot.
Oh yeah. I’m gonna share with all you gals as soon as I’m on my home computer.
No, I have been here for nearly a year and have not found anyone here to be creepy in that sense. I’m starting to worry that I am not worthy of creepy message!!!
@Leanne1986 you’re not the only one. Apparently I’m missing out on all the fun (?) as well.
wait, so should we report a creepy message? Or just handle it ourselves? by ignoring it.
The ones I’ve gotten have been silly and not by frequent users..usually people that post for a couple days then disappear.
@janbb Just ain’t my cup of tea dearie. =P Besides, as long as you aren’t portraying yourself as a supermodel I ain’t gonna make a fuss out of it. =)
@Saturated_Brain That’s cool, my friend. But if you ever decide you want some penguin lurve….
