Auxiliary Port in Car?

Asked by abh94 (62points) January 17th, 2010

I have a Honda Odyssey (2005 model), and am wondering if it has an auxiliary port in the audio system. Does anybody know if it does, and if so where?

no, it does not.
that was not really an option until 2007, and nowadays its on almost all cars along with a USB port.

If there is not one in the front, maybe in the back?

Crutchfield.com sells hardware based on specific make/model/year, maybe their site will help.

Ya, its just that there’s this key on the radio that says AUX/XM, so i’m pretty sure there’s a an aux port.

While it might have the key on the radio, the factory might not have installed the harness. We just had one installed in my daughter’s 2006 Toyota Forerunner. We bought the harness online from GROM Audio for $59.95 plus shipping, and the guys at the dealership plugged it into the back of the radio and ran the wire into the center console. My daughter just has to plug in her iPod or MP3 player and punch the aux button, and she’s got her own tunes blasting.
