Whats your choice for a vacation? Jamaica or Aruba and why?
I am a Sag. and Sags love to travel. i am seriously thinking about a vacation to either Jamaica or Aruba. have been to Jamaica twice, Aruba once. both are very inviting playgrounds of beautiful white sands and gorgeous, warm ocean waters. i can flip a coin, but i am afraid the wrong choice could be decided by a coin. if you could go with me, what would be your choice and why?

Aruba, I haven’t been there and I was not really impressed with Jamaica. I think the armed gaurds at the little shopping place we stopped at kinda put me off.
Aruba….because I said so!;)
Aruba, because there are way better opportunities to scuba dive there as opposed to Jamaica. I’m also not fond of the drugs and crime in Jamaica.
@john65pennington – One of my exes is a Sag and he did indeed love his travelling adventures. I reckon he still does. Too bad we were otherwise not suited. But we travelled well together.
Aruba. Less touristy. More chance for natural adventures. I’m not much for shopping.
I loved Aruba. they do not grow any vegetables there and are 100% dependent on outside food to be flown in. Aruba has the worlds 2nd largest water filtration plant, making fresh water out of sea water. its a fascinating procedure to watch. the sun is really hot in Aruba. its so close to the equator. worst sunburn of my life came from the sun in Aruba. there is a casino in Aruba and time-sharing is strong. i still cannot make up my mind.
Aruba has extraordinary powdered sugar beaches and divi divi trees that bend only one way due to the trade winds. However the sun will give you a nasty burn.
Eeenerweiner…........i loved Jamaica. did you take the train ride in the mountains? if you did, you probably noticed the big caves in the center of the island. prisoners are housed there and escaping is a death sentence. i love the 3 colors of the ocean as you descend down to land. i did not like the 7 year old children, at the airport, offering me hishash.
@john65pennington I stopped there for a day on a cruise and went horseback riding through the countryside and on the beach then went shopping. While it was very beautiful leaving port at sunset, some of the less touristy areas we drove through were a little unnerving.
Eener. i agree. i met a National Police Officer in Jamaica and we became friends. he stayed with us most of the time and we were never afraid to venture all over the island. i know this was a rare situation, but all police officers throughout the globe, all stick together. we stayed at the Holiday Inn and loved it. security was everywhere, even out in the ocean.
Now I wanna go to somewhere warm, sunny and sandy.
I was sick they day we were supposed to do the canopy tour in Jamaica. I want to go back just for that!
