Needing a good protein skimmer?

Looking for a recommendation on a good protein skimmer for my 100 gallong salt water aquarium. Prefer to pay $200 or less. Needs to be in sump design.

I hate to say it but finding a skimmer for a tank that size under 200 just isnt going to happen. As far as brands id look into ASM or octopus, both make really good skimmers. I currently have an octopus on my 44g reef tank and love it.
Remember, with skimmers, you always want to get one that is recommended for tanks much larger than yours.
Your best bet is to check craigslist and ebay for a used skimmer. Id also recommend checking reef forums as people are always selling stuff on there. A few good ones are Saltwaterfish.com, Reef2Reef.com , and renegadereefers.org (this is the one i frequent. and use the same name over there)
