Can I fix my pad thai?

Asked by sliceswiththings (11723points) January 20th, 2010

My roommate and I made our first pad thai last night. It’s good, but the noodles are undercooked. We have a lot of leftovers, and I was wondering if there’s a way to soften them up, maybe adding water when we reheat?
Thanks!

Yes, it may affect the quality of the dish somewhat, but add some water and boil a few minutes.

Steam it if you can. The noodles need to absorb some moisture. It will affect the crispness of the veggies, but with leftovers that’s always a problem.

I say add some water, stir it in, and then bake the dish. Also, add some lime juice – it’s a great way to spruce up the flavor when the fridge makes the dish go a little flat.
