Is this a homework question?
Hmmmmm you were able to search wikipedia to find both of these events. What is it exactly that prevents you from reading both articles and seeing the differences?
/fl/ is not your personal Army homework team
Since these both occurred in Canada, you’re unlikely to get much participation. As a matter of fact, I’m surprised your question hasn’t been deleted by community lack of interest.
The Oka Crisis was a conflict involving a blockade of a public road over the expropriation of traditional first nations land and burial ground to build a golf course for non-native people near he small town of Oka, Quebec.
The October Crisis was the result of a Kidnapping of a British Diplomat and the murder of a francophone Cabinet Minister by an extreme and violent separatist group, the FLQ. This resulted in Martial Law across Canada.
You will need to research both events if you hope to write a paper comparing and contrasting these two events.
