I have to be a little prejudiced in a stereotypical way. Why/how would a woman wear white lipstick & mascara?
Is it just a look? Do strippers do it. I just saw it in a music video and my testosterone made me say it’s hot. It’s just a kinky/fringe look right?

That could be a fashion thingy for some people but you know how trendy people can be. It does not mean they are strippers as catholic priests on white gowns don’t have to be holy.
To be honest, I have no idea about the why/how part. However, I do have to say you peaked my curiosity, so I googled it. You’re right. it IS hot. Not sure why though.
And one more thing, i don’t find it hot. :D
It looks rather strange to me.. but I’m a dinosaur.
It’s a music video!! Most of what you see there is simply over the top just for the shock value!
Maybe she just likes the look?
It’s just another weapon in a woman’s arsenal….and you my friend, are another casualty.
personally, like my purple lipstick & green mascara! loll
My daughter was using black lipstick for a bit.
She stopped when I told her it made her mouth look like an anus.
I am not sure what to make of white lipstick.
I think it’s a 60’s thing….
Yes, @TheJoker I remember the frosted white lipstick from the late 60’s early 70’s.
@wilma…I thought so. Thanks for confirming it, would have been a little embarrassing to get it wrong as I’m a bit of a Britpop fiend :)
@Dan_DeColumna: (Sorry. I can’t let this one pass. You mean “piqued. ”... .“do have to say you peaked my curiosity..”)
How are you being “prejudiced in a stereotypical way”?
Anyway, I can’t understand why anyone would think white lipstick and mascara makes a girl look attractive, I think it makes them look sickly, like they’re on the verge of freezing to death and all natural color has been drained.
@le_inferno
I just didn’t want to sound lecherous, so I qualified myself
It just makes me think of Lady Gaga for some reason. And it doesn’t seem at all attractive to me.
@gailcalled is there a comma after say…“do have to say, you piqued my curiosity!” Since we are playing on “stuff!” And, he is a new member!!!!!!!! geeezzzzzzzzzz
The sentence was fine except for “peaked” instead of “piqued.” What does that have to do with playing on “stuff” (whatever that means)?
”...I do have to say you piqued my curiosity…”
Gailcalled is right about “piqued”, but, reading it over, I don’t think a comma is necessary after “say”.
Let me know,
-Dan
@Dan DeColumna well, you certainly want to be correct here Dan! LOLL…in the scheme of things, people dying in Haiti by the thousands, bad economy, War in Afghanistan, etc, don’t think you should lose any sleep over it!
Look up the French spelling of pique
It’s also a grade of diamond and gemstones
@Bobo1946; Since the subject is white lipstick and stereotypes, and not Haiti, the horrible economy and Afghanistan, a comma is wrong after “say.”
If you want to talk about the serious issues confronting us, please feel free on another thread. Does purple lipstick and green mascara fall under that category?
Le pique in French also means “the spade” suit in cards. “Le Pique Dame” (Queen of Spades) is an opera by Tchaikovsky.
@BoBo1946 That comma haunts my soul at night. :-( Just kidding. :-D I agree. There are many more important things to spend my worry on.
@gailcalled and @12_func_multi_tool Thanks for the information.
