Why are my spider plant leaves turning orange?

If you have brown/orange edges on the leaves, it maybe do to dry conditions and salt build up. Try changing the soil and keeping the plant well watered.

Sounds like over watering even suffocating. You may need to re-pot…stat!

I have a lot of spider plants. They need a lot of water. They have huge roots and sometimes the roots are larger than the pot. As someone already suggested, re-pot the plant, give the plant some good soil in which to grow and water, water, water.
