Who's watching Conan O'Brien's last show tonight?
And who wishes Jay Leno would have taken the boot instead of Conan.
I for one.

I’ll be Tivo’ing it.
Jay’s not funny.
I’ll be there for sure. These last few weeks watching Conan have been great, he’s been respectful of and gracious to the fans, true to his hilarious nature, and gone out with style.
Leno is an ass.
I have to. Or Conan would be pissed off at me. ;-)
Ok, just an excuse to watch. :-)
I’m looking forward to it. The only late night hosts that I have enjoyed watching are Johnny Carson, Letterman and Conan. I never liked Leno.
I LOVE Conan – but I have to admit that I appreciated his writing for the Simpson’s a little more than the Tonight Show. I still think that has absolute moments of hilarity, but I always appreciate the really, really dry stuff that may not always be a crowd-pleaser. Hopefully, I’ll be able to catch the last show tonight.
As for Jay Leno, I don’t find him funny – at all. I thinks he’s hammy, predictable and just recycles a lot of drivel. I was stuck watching a few of his shows a couple of years ago when I was recovering from surgery on the couch, and it was just awful. Some people dig him, though.
<~ As my avatar indicates: I’m with COCO!!!
Oh, yes. I’ll be watching. And I’ll be wearing my orange beanie. And probably I’ll be crying. :(
I wish Jay would’ve gotten the boot because I thought it sucked he moved to 10 pm and a lot of great shows were shoved off because of it. The station deserves to suffer in ratings because of poor piss planning. In my opinion, non of them were as funny or as talented as Johnny Carson. He was funny, had class, and he knew how to interview his guest without it being 10 minutes of total nonsense. I’ve seen guest come on all these shows and Leno and Conan ask questions a 5 year old would ask and then revert to a monologue about themselves for the next 8 minutes.
im not, i dont really watch either of em. i do like Jay and think Conan is ok too.
I’ll be watching either tonight or tomorrow on the dvr. I only ever watched Conan occasionally. I never watched religiously or anything, but I always thought he was a million times better than Leno. I have never ever enjoyed Leno. Plus, Leno made Kathy Griffin cry by calling her ugly right on his show, so I officially hate him. Conan is kind, genuine, hilarious, respectful, cute, modest, original, quirky, and I love his and Andy Richter’s comedic volleying.
I’ll Tivo it. I cannot stand Leno. I’m very sad to see Conan go. But I’ve always been a Letterman girl at heart.
@ubersiren Did she really cry? Leno is a bigger ass than I thought if he can make her cry. I thought she was pretty thick skinned.
@jonsblond She didn’t cry on the air, but on her show, My Life on the D List, they showed her getting into the limo after the show in tears, and she drove away, blubbering. In all fairness, I think Leno tried to apologize, but by then, the damage had been done.
I’ve watched Conan on a regular basis since I was 10, so I would be doing myself a disservice if I missed it. Unfortunately, I’ll have to watch it on Hulu tomorrow…
Also watching on Hulu tomorrow, I don’t have a TV. I have always loved Conan and never liked Jay, so I hope Conan gets a new show soon. Or does some kind of online podcast show, that way he’d be his own boss – and the future of TV is on the internet anyway, he’ll get a head start.
I’ll watch, but I think I’ll start crying. Conan’s the only late night show I’ll watch.
@jmah This is probably my favorite Conan sketch ever.
I’ll be there.
I’m going to miss you, Coco.
Cocoooooooooooooooooooooooo!! Don’t leave us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For Hubby and I it will be a return to the funniest person on TV, we loved Jay Leno, and had to record his earlier spot, because of conflicts. We just laugh ourselves silly with Jay Leno, and are mostly bored by Conan.
@YARNLADY – Alright, but just know that watching Leno is watching the rest of us suffer, ha ha. I’m sure Conan will be back on again on another network.
I won’t be watching it. I don’t like Conan or Leno. I prefer David Letterman.
Just watched it. The ending was great!
Watched it. I thought his speech before the end was really great and genuine, especially “I hate cynicism.”
You could at least add ”spoiler”, it’s not on here yet.
@absalom- Not cool. I’m on the west coast.
Sorry I ruined the entire show by relaying one sentence.
The final show was amazing. Loved every second of it.
I just watched it. I won’t give any spoilers away, but it was epic. Coco’s a class act, and I’m really gonna miss the show.
So did I! I liked his interview with Steve Carrell.
I watched this morning (while eating breakfast) – it was a bitter sweet finale. He’s such a great guy, loved by everyone who knows him personally as well as people who don’t, so I know this isn’t the end for him. I bet NBC is self-flagellating as we speak. :)
