I’m traveling for 3 months, of which the last month will be spent in South America. I’m thinking it’d be good to learn some Spanish before I get there.
Are there any good intro-to-Spanish books available in the Kindle store?
Thanks,
-Nick

Can you access Livemocha on some other electronic device? It costs nothing, it’s fun, it’s effective.
A FABULOUS dictionary/grammar/usage guide for Spanish that I always carry with me in
Spanish-speaking countries is the University of Chicago Spanish Dictionary, Lincoln Canfield, ed. My edition is from 1987 – still excellent, a little grubby. Don’t know if there are later editions than mine, 4th edition.
Ah, thanks for the recommendations. Unfortunately I’ll be out of cellphone coverage for much of the trip, and the UoC dictionary isn’t available on Kindle. Bummer!
