Do you ever wonder where those weird people go? (details)

I’m not talking about those people who were “abducted” and wound up in an asylum, but instead, I’m wondering about the occasional person who drops in, says something, like one thing, and just disappears. For example, one of the greatest disappearances was Janets, who left probably one of the most epic questions on Fluther, followed by an immediate disappearance. She quite literally never showed up again on Fluther since the day she got an account and posted that question. Also, if anyone would be happy to explain to me a bit more about the frizzer story, because I’m having a hard time understanding what that is all about, please do.

Oh, you mean flutherers. I thought you meant people like, who we used to call “the furnace kids” in school. They were banished to the “in school suspension” room near the furnace room in the back of the school. Some of them, we never heard from again, and we always assumed they were just thrown in the furnace.
It feels soooooooooo weird when there are, in this case, 5 others in the room and you’re expecting one to say something…

I’m all with you @Fred931, I read the question about the frizzer and the missing kid, and the tag was Casey Anthony…hmm. Still wondering about this… Also, I have no idea where she went…some people just have their mysteries. Has she disappeared from the universe? Wouldn’t she have to be getting email alerts from fluther every time someone answers her question?? Her fluther profile says, joined: August 17,2008 and last sign in: August 17, 2009 Anything peculiar about this? weird

I’m with @trailsillustrated on this, what the hell was the question about and what is so intriguing about “the frizzer”? Some things boggle me. I’ll chalk this up to when a group of people take turns looking at one another and saying, “dude!” and it’s supposed to mean something.

I have no idea what Janets meant, but really, it was so awesomely bad, it was fantastic. I read the whole thread sometimes just to get a chuckle.
Maybe Janets is off taking some grammer, English and typing classes. Who knows?

If i were janets, I would be totally bewildered by first few non-sequitur answers and then embarrassed and hurt by the answers that made fun of my question. I would never come back. I would never have known I was such a hit and I would have been hurt if I did know, because it was obvious thats it was my ignorance and the commotion it provoked that was lauded

I might not ever want to come back if I asked a question like that and got responses like that!
