Not sure, but I am curious how it got on your bed spread in the first place…

Maybe some corn starch or flour to blot it.
LOL Olive Oil Remover

Liquid dish soap directly on the spot only and rub together. After put in the washing machine with no laundry detergent.
This procedure also gets out chocolate stains :)

Baking soda and vinegar. The baking soda will lift it and the vinegar will desolve the oil. Let it sit a bit and bubble and then rinse out after a few minutes. I like to wait about 10 minutes. If it still doesn’t work try the liquid dish soap. The only problem with dish soap is that it can lighten the fabric a little. But most bedspreads have the color set in really well.

@Pandora
But the vinegar might stain if it’s wine vinegar no?

Never had white vinegar stain any thing I’ve used it on. Unless the bedspread is dry clean only. Then anything they put on it will stain it. Even water.

@Pandora a “dry clean only” bedspread would be a horrible decision, lol.

~edit~ To buy that is…

Yes white vinegar NOT the red stuff.

Any liquid dish detergent contains a de-greaser. Just rub the spot with it, and then rinse the soap out.
