I’ll be training for the exam this year and i was interested in drinking protein shakes. now i know there are alot of different brands and what not with different effects i guess. i dont want one that will add alot of weight to me becuase if i get lazy then i dont want to get fat. i want one that will increase my endurance and energy. increasing my bulk slightly.
i plan on going to the gym about 4 times a week. and working out at home daily. especially my legs.

Dude, Protein shakes are a waste of money !!
When Arnold Schwarzenegger was training, he mixed powder milk with egg whites & some honey !! That was his protein shake ! Most athletes endorse expensive shakes just for the money not because they believe in it’s usefulness.
Are you serious about Arnold? becuase i seriously want to save money and if your telling the truth…shiiiieeeeeeett i will deffinitely go the cheapest route.
Here’s a list of different protein shakes you can make from ordinary foods and whey powder.
Yes!! I’m 100% sure I read his autobiography !!!
The best protein is found in milk and eggs whites!
The most expensive protein shakes claim to contain milk & egg white and they do but only trace amounts most of their protein derives from whey !!
@Pretty_Lilly so the protein arnold took. gives him energy? or builds his muscles? or both?
@PandoraBoxx thanks i will look into that.
Protein is best digested and used by the body if it comes from milk/eggs,,,Whey is a wasted of money !!
He claims to have eaten peanut butter to bulk up !!! It gave him energy and help him gain weight but he would not use it 2 months prior to a contest as he need to be ripped !
There was a whole chapter in Arnie’s Bio about bodybuilders/athletes on a budget who were broke and had to make do with alternative supplements and exercises as they could not even afford a gym membership!
I really like ON (Optimum Nutrition) Double Rich Chocolate. You can get it fairly cheap online. It mixes well and tastes great! I strongly recommend it if you chose to actually purchase a protein powder now because @Pretty_Lilly: has it right. The best protein is from milk/eggs as well as lean turkey and chicken breast.
