How long do movies remain available for instant watching on Netflix?

I’m under the impression that movies on Starzplay only stay as long as Starz has the rights to air them, but what about the other movies available to watch instantly? Are there time frames I should watch out for to make sure I don’t miss my chances with films?

Indefinitely, I’m pretty sure, as long as you’ve got a subscription. None of mine have ever disappeared till I manually deleted them.
I’ve never seen Netflix remove movies from the list. I don’t see why they would. Starzplay is it’s own weird little sidebar.
In either case in your queue you’ll see an expiration date for those that are nearing expiration. I’ve seen this for non-Starz Play movies as well. On a Roku or other player it won’t say this (to my knowledge).
Some of them rotate on and off, others stay on almost all the time. The older ones stay on most of the time, the newer ones are on for a month or so and then off for a month or two, and then on again. Or at least that’s what I’ve observed.
