Make a whole blog with jQuery, is it possible?

I would get started with HTML. It seems you fundamentally don’t understand what jQuery is—it’s a library for a language called Javascript which is a client-side scripting language that is used in addition to HTML. I would highly recommend using http://www.w3schools.com/.

I know that jQuery is javascript, and I have some knowledge of html and css.
I just want to know if i get started and start learning about jQuery is it worth it?

It isn’t Javascript. It’s written in Javascript. Learning jQuery is only worth it if you want to build dynamic content on your site which isn’t really a necessity on Tumblr. So I guess my answer is no, I wouldn’t recommend learning jQuery. I’d recommend HTML and CSS if you want to build a custom Tumblr theme.

Yea but cool effects, with the slide show for your artwork, text that fades out when you click a link and etc.

It seems you’ve already made your decision and just wanted validation, but you won’t get it from me.

I wording of this question is insane. You can use jQuery on tumblr, I do it to lightbox youtube videos.
