I would like to change my email address, without opening a new account on YAHOO. Is this possible?

I actually did change my email address on Yahoo several months ago and yes, I had to open a new account. I don’t believe there is any way around it. Yahoo sent a message notifying me that my old account would be dissolved in 30 days though so that was good.
@Bluefreedom-thank you! Does Yahoo have a automated notification to your address book that your email address has changed?
You’re welcome! If I remember correctly, I think they had an option to do a mass notification to others in your address book to relate your change of email address.
I have two addresses. I think the second one is called a sub-account.
My yahoo mail is through my AT&T, my DSL provider, free accounts may be different.
I have several accounts on Yahoo and Gmail, and funnel all of the mail into one Gmail account. It’s no trick at all.
