Is anyone else poring over seed catalogues?

I usually buy my seeds at the nursery ot harvest them from plants I’ve grown.Once in awhile I will order plants from catalogs-lilies mostly.I love them!:)

@faye that’s a good idea. I don’t have a really great place since I left my SO, but dangit, it’s mine. I think maybe planting a couple flowers is just what I need. I’m damn well going to look at some catalogs and plan something nice. And reasonable. Thanks.

I’ve been looking at roses. Big beautiful fluffy roses.
I live on the fourth floor and have no patio.

@gemiwing if I ever learn how I’ll post a picture of my roses. The weather was fabulous last year and they bloomed and bloomed. These are winter hardy roses though not flower store roses like you are probably thinking of. I’ve tried them too, but they suffer winterkill.

I wish I had the patience to grow things. But I end up forgetting and things get dead if you forget them… Except that one aloe plant that seemed to like being neglected. My green thumb mother got her hands on it and it almost died from an over-abundance of care until she neglected it a little. But most of my plants get dead. :(

Good luck! My mother is right there with you! Though she has a really cool local nursery that she’s planning on getting many, many things from rather than the catalogs.

Not when its 18 degrees outside and the forecast calls for snow. maybe, next week.

All of them. I like the surprise. get a planter for the mismatched ones. You can make little flags too with the species ‘n black marker

Every day more catalogs come. I can’t wait. I think I’m going to order everything today.
