Are you a person who plans everything in life, or do you just let it happen?

I prefer to let things happen, but I must plan things for school etc.

Whoa.. I haven’t seen you around lately. It is nice to have you back.

I usually try to keep things as open as I can. It it makes it easier to adjust if things don’t work out exactly as planned.

I’d like to let things just happen to me, but somehow I always seem to end up carefully planning whatever I do. Sometimes I do impulsively decide to do something, but I’m really trying to do that more often ;-)

I answer regularly, but ask fewer questions. Or maybe you lost me in the between all the n00bs. :-)

I’m a noob, that just kinda goes with the flow, my wife on the other hand is a planner. She probably already knows what she will be wearing next Saturday.

I like to plan things, but not everything. I can’t stop some things from happening to me. I have goals things I’d like to do, see, experience, and places I’d like to work I plan for the worst and hope for the best, so far so good.

It’s a half / half kinda thing, I don’t like too much structure but none at all is pure chaos.

Plus, you can’t plan for everything, just the worse case situation.

I’m not organized enough to plan things.

Spontaneity does help, things sometimes don’t always go as planned. Flexibility, and spontaneity can go a long way. But each person should continue with what works for them as an individual.

I have learned from being a parent and from working in healthcare that despite the best laid plans, you can never predict how your life could change in an instant. So I have learned to go with the flow during the course of my days. I still do some planning, by looking ahead at my schedule in the upcoming days and weeks, so I can be prepared physically and mentally for the upcoming events.

As for schoolwork and other tasks and responsibilities, everyone has their own style. Some prefer the structure of being highly organized and keeping a handle on things; other people (myself included) tend to put things off and pull things together at the last minute. It’s up to you to find out what works best for you.

I plan, but it never seems to help.

I love to plan: i bring always with me and sync my personal agenda with my iPhone, and blackberry/laptop. I have multiple tasks in outlook homepage, use follow-up regularly, sticky coloured notes, graphs and charts and whatsoever
But at the end of the day I always end up far away from the path i was thinking. Fortunately though, the outcome is generally similar, so I still have a job, and a pseudo social life outside the massive amount of working hours.

I don’t really plan much. My parents call me a hippie without the weed. So I like to say I’ll go where the universe takes me. I like to procrastinate on projects and whatever I don’t know what it is but when I start a project early I don’t tend to do as well as i do when i do it the night before it’s due
