Has anyone seen this tattoo design?

Asked by Kiev749 (2092points) January 27th, 2010

I remember seeing this design on facebook back in the fall, saved the picture but my hard drive crashed and i lost everything. Does anyone know of like a search engine or a website or has seen this design called “Heart Of Leo”? I remember its on a shoulder with the head of a lion and feathers for the mane… has anyone seen this? i have tried googleing to no avail….

I searched and couldn’t find much either..I found a bunch of winged lions though…anyway a good tattoo artist should be able to recreate the kind of image you’re talking about.

I couldn’t find it, but I had a lot of fun looking for it! Check this out: glow in the dark tattoos!

@augustlan Part of me says “wow, that is cool” while part of me says “holy crap!”

@augustlan & @SeventhSense Those are actually blacklight tattoos, they don’t really glow in the dark. No uranium or phosphorus involved, it’s just UV sensitive. I think the ink they used descended from the ink used to mark wild fish with to track migration or something like that. They can look pretty cool, but the ink hasn’t been around long enough to convince me that its safe. The FDA doesn’t regulate tattoo ink sadly.

@augustlan, my first thought was, interesting punishment for a pickpocket. You couldn’t get away with anything in the dark unless you were wearing gloves.

@augustlan Check out the electronic and digital tattoos.

@Allie I’d seen the first one a while back, but totally forgot about it. The second is new to me. Thanks!
