My job involves a lot of walking in these jeans, and I wash them every night.

When you get too fat D: jkjk (I just lost the weight :3)
Depends what kind jeans…if there sturdy and not for fashion they should last for ages. but even the fashion jeans should stay for long, Jeans in general are the sturdiest/toughest right?
Depends how thick the material is though. I’ve bought some that are pretty thin and they don’t hold up well. Seems like, as with most things, they were better made in the past.
It really depends on quality of denim you’re buying, how often you wear it and how often you wash it. Raw denim is made to last a bit longer than regular denim because you’re not supposed to wash it for 6–12 months (it’s meant to produce wear and tear to produce your own style).
I’m not into brand names, but (most) brand name denim lasts longer than non-brand name denim. Considering you use your denim almost everyday and you wash it everyday, I’d give it about about half a year at the very most (assuming that you’re doing some sort of labor) before it starts to give out. Shop around and ask questions about their denim to get the most bang for your buck.
Double ring-spun jeans last the longest, but they are the most expensive to manufacture. Back in the early 20th century, that’s how all jeans were made. I’ve seen vintage “blueline” Levi’s 201s from the early 1900s, still completely wearable, available for thousands of dollars. There are a couple of Japanese firms that bought the old looms and use them today to make “super-premium” denim.
The average pair of jeans are not made in this way and will probably last at least 4 years with proper care. Some designer jeans, like AG and Citizens for Humanity, are at least ring-spun and will last much longer than they will be in fashion. You can tell by the weave of the denim. Ring-spun jeans are pretty tightly woven. It also depends on the thickness of the fabric and the quality of the cotton.
If you’re using the jeans every day, I’d say a year or two, at most (less if you do hard labor). I wear my jeans about as often as you do, and that’s about how long they have lasted me.
As a side note, I have noticed that stretch jeans tend to last a little longer than 100% cotton.
Three seconds if I am wearing them and I want to use them to “slide” across to the other side of the room. (It’s happened with almost every pair of pants I’ve worn).
If washing and just wearing the jeans is all the activity involved. a good pair of brand name jeans should last you two to three years. i have some jeans that are that old and been worn constantly by me. heavy denim is what you are looking for in a pair of jean. needles to say, the more you pay for a pair of jeans, the longer they will last. this is true. i have a pair of jeans bought in the 50s that are still like brand new. i must admit i wore them as a kid and they have been put in storage. they are worth a small fortune. lonelydragon is correct.
If you are a tad on the thick side, or worse, they may last 2 years, due to upper/middle thigh rubbing.
