CrossFirex power supply question?
What is required in a power supply when I build a CrossFirex system with two video cards? How many connections and how many pins on each connector? Any good power supply recommendations?

It depends on the cards. If you’re running a 5870 or above, you’re going to need 4 6-pin connectors – two for each card.
What cards are you planing on running, and how much are you willing to spend on a PSU?
Haven’t bought the cards yet. hopefully less than $100. Is the answer the same for SLI?
The answer would be similar for SLI – the GTX260, for example needs two 6-pin power connectors and a minimum of 36amps on the +12V rail.
The power draw from your cards will determine what is the best PSU for the price you’re willing to pay (or the closest to it).
