Are you using PC or Mac? Please provide more details about your setup, as well as which Internet connectivity device will take precedence (Verizon broadband or at&t EDGE). Thanks!

In order to bridge your Verizon Broadband Card’s internet connection to your iPhone, you will need to create an AD-HOC Network that will allow to you to essentially create a wireless hotspot.

Here is a tutorial link for both Vista and Mac OS X.

If however you need to share your iPhone’s internet connection to your laptop, it is not possible for you to do so without jail-breaking. There are some tutorials online that will show you how to jail break your iPhone to allow you to tether your iPhone to your laptop through bluetooth. Connecting via EDGE is not advisable due to slow speeds and high latency.
