I like this girl, talked a to a few times (she's in my school), and I want to ask her out on Valentines Day... Do you have any suggestions on what to do?

Well, Freshman yeah in high, and i met her for ½ year…. i fell in love with her… I used to be shy around her, but then now i talk to her more… It’s a coincidence that we are going to Tahoe, at the same mountain for that day, which is Valentines Day. Please help me try to win her heart….

Thanks

First, don’t tell her you fell in love with, or are in love with her. ( and I know you’re young, but don’t think you are…. trust me, you’re too young to know what that is).

Second, don’t think about it so much, and just ASK her. Women/girls like confidence, if you confidently just go up and ask her straight up “Hey, do you want to go out with me and do {insert activity here} on valentines?” It will likely work if there’s any mutual attraction, and she isn’t already busy.

Third, if she says no, don’t get down on yourself, and don’t get awkward. It may be that she just already had plans with someone. Just try again at a later date.

I guess the best piece of advice I can give, is to not overanalyze anything and worry about it in your head too much, and just DO it. Fortune favors the bold.

I believe that each person requires a different approach. That’s yet another thing to add to the list on how we’re all unique. Since you knew her for a year and a half, I think you know best what she wants…not some random stranger (self burn) on the Internet.

But I do wish you good luck.

Say to her casually, “I hear we are going to be at Tahoe on Valentine’s Day. Would you like to go out while we are there?”

@marinelife Perfect answer! Casual, yet to the point.

no, we already know we’re going together

So change it a bit. Say “Since we are going to be at Tahoe on Valentine’s Day, would you like to go out while we are there?”
