What do you use to clean your LCD screen?

I know they have a special cleaner to clean the screen, but it’s too much money for the amount you get. I know you aren’t suppose to use harsh cleaners with chemicals. Is there something else out there that is more reasonable for the amount of product you get? What about for the base and the frame around the screen? I was told only use water, but it leaves streaks and doesn’t look clean. Any suggestions out there?
