I just bought a new iPhone, what are your favorite apps?
I’m loving my new iPhone, and have been downloading and trying out new apps. What are some fun, or useful apps you have that you can suggest? Also, free apps are what I’m primarily looking for, but if one is reasonable, and really cool, I would consider paying for it.

They all get boring after a short while. I think phones should make phone calls, send texts, and take pictures.
What are your interests?
App Box Pro is $1.99 (I think) and it has so many basic utilities: flashlight, currency converter, date calculator, translator, tip calculator, units converter…
BTW, Congrats. My iPhone is the only electronic device that I have ever loved.
Facebook
Shazam (tells you the name of the song that’s playing)
Fluther
Amazon

I also play the hell out of Scrabble, but I think it’s $4.99. Money well spent for me though.
This may come as a shock, but I don’t have an iPhone. If I did have one I probably wouldn’t spend tonnes of money on apps, it just seems like a waste to me.
Taptu is definitely a very useful App for finding whats good.
I found Fluther through it and lots of other good stuff.
VLC Remote Free if you use VLC. It is my number one app. I even put it in the dock.

Oh and I discovered one today called “Moodagent” which creates playlists from the music on your iPhone based on differed mood settings. Neat-o.
I love Byline. I use it all the time, it’s even in my dock. It’s an RSS reader that syncs with Google Reader.
I went to Brooklyn last night and was playing music in the car through the phone. We got lost and were able to use the iPhone GPS and maps to find our way. I think some of the built-in apps are great; have not needed to add others except for TapTunes which is a cool musical interface designed by my son (shameless plug here.)
