The same way anyone else files. Once a year they fill out their tax forms and send them in. Strippers get a paycheck so there is a record of FICA and SSA taxes taken out as well.
They have to pay a pole tax.
They would probably do it with all of their clothes on.
The talented ones don’t use their hands.
@Fred931 Lol I would think
@gemiwing Actually they don’t, they are independent contractors who are paid only by tips so they have to take care of all their taxes. At least most of them are.
Independent contractors usually file quarterly.
shot down…damn!! lol, welp, see ya around @filmfann!!! haha
@laureth has it. Most of them are independent contractors, which means they have to file quarterly or pay a fine when they file (as penalty for not filing quarterly). Those that are not independent contractors, file the same way a waitress would.
I’d imagine they get a base pay plus tips that they file for whatever company they work for, just like any other employee by April 15th. If they’re self-employed or own their own business, they would have to pay every quarter.
@ubersiren They are independent contractors who are paid only by tips. I also read online they usually have to pay the club to use the stage
Remember, it’ll depend on the state they live in as well.
If they are employees, they file taxes the same way as everyone else.
If they are independent contractors they file the same way as everyone else…. if they owe more than one thousand dollars per year they are required to pay quarterly (not file quarterly).
I must be a stripper accountant because I like to handle their ass-ets. what? huh? ohhhh yeah//
In Germany they are employed and get a salary or they are freelance sending out bills and paying expenses.
