Looking for searching engine optimization?

My personal idea is to search for “search engine optimization” and pick the top two or three companies to contact.

That is, if you can’t get yourself in the top, why should I hire you?

That may not help you specifically, but it’s my approach.

I have been doing Search/Interactive marketing for almost 8 years now and I can say that unless you are going to hire a well known strategist or a reputable Interactive agency you are generally better off getting acquainted with SEO on your own. Also let me clarify what I mean by “Interactive Agency” find a company or person that is versed in many aspects of digital marketing, not just SEO, companies/people that do only SEO aren’t going to see the big picture. Internet Marketing is a multifaceted thing and it requires a strategy that looks at the big picture, not just bits and pieces.

So unless you have a good marketing budget and can hire an Interactive Agency of Record I would implore you to learn about optimization on your own and hire a consultant on a per diem basis for those times when you start feeling really stuck.
