Do the pictures on the drivers licenses from all states have blue backgrounds?
Does each state have a blue background in their DMV photos, or can that vary from state to state or DMV office to DMV office?

No. The ones around where I live are gray.
I live in in a tourist clogged area and see several different license plates go by each day. The background varies. Some are blue, other are not.
I can tell you that my CA driver’s license photo has a blue background, if that helps you narrow things down.
Massachusetts has blue, too.
My Wisconsin background on my photo is gray..issued in 2004.
Gosh. This one has piqued my interest. The only info I could find is that they do so for security. Now the discovery of why blue?...Is not easily stated. I did read however that Ohio changed to pink for all boys and girls.
Maybe they choose blue because it looks like the sky.
Mine are all issued in Virginia, and the new one has no background color (issued late 2009) – just the pattern of the card behind my photo, and the little see through image of me has a background color of whatever the shit I put it against. :)
Just pulled out my old one, the background was cyan (issued early 2009), before that I remember it being grey (issued 2004).

What color is Mizzou?
@breedmitch: I do disappear periodically a little too often, don’t I? God damn real life responsibilities and whatnot. Anyway, Missouri’s is blue, as far as I’m aware… I’ve even seen some that have “DMV” imprinted into the blue background.
