Seals and crofts? Summer breeze
Daft Punk-Voyager
Here Comes the Sun – the Beatles
Brown Eyed Girl – Van Morrison
You Make me Feel Like Dancin’ – Leo Sayer
Right now, hmmm? Lil Wayne’s – Knockout – from his new rebirth album.
Shambala (Three Dog Night) does it for me.
Oh yes, walking on sunshine. Also Move your feet by Junior Senior.
Haha, I knew someone had to mention Walking on Sunshine.
Yess, anything Seals and Crofts sings.
The list is so long. Any upbeat song will pick me up.
Tonights gonna be a goodnight
Black Eyed Peas
Chicken Fried – Zac Brown Band
Happy Together
The Turtles
@Trillian….. Great song, I cant hear it now without thinking about the film, Shaun of the Dead!
Well i’m most always in a good mood but to enhance this i’d probably go for My Way Sinatra’s version of course.
Kodachrome, Leaves that are Green, Feelin’ Groovy, Simon and Garfunkel
Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon, Queen
@TheJoker Yeah, nice. I feel the same way about Sugar Ray.
@Trillian…. I cant believe I didnt think of Sugar Ray, such a cool band!!!
The fianl movement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Sibelius’ “Finlandia”, Vaughn Williams “Sea Symphony”, Carl Orrff’s “Carmina Burana”, Neilsen’s Fourth Symphony “The Inextinguishable”, Schostakovich’s Tenth Symphony, J.S. Bach’s “Sheep May Safely Graze”. These all lift my spirits.
I can’t seem to find a Judy Collins version of it, but the first time I heard Open the Door was when I was having a hard time in Jr. High (a million years ago.) and this song woke me up on my radio alarm clock. I ended up having an incredible day, and so I still smile when I hear it.

Stevie Wonder’s I Wish
Queen’s Fat Bottomed Girls (warning some find this song offense. Being one who enjoys and has a partner who adores, my big bottom, it works for us.)
it’s funny that you can often tell how old someone is by their answers.
Oh silly me how could I forget….Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA. “So I put my hands up, they playin’ my song, the butterflies fly away…...I’m nodding my head like yeah….moving my hips like yeah…..”.
Right now I have Rain on my Parade stuck in my head and it’s been making my step jaunty all day!
In general for cheering up I like funny dance songs like What is Love, or happy pop-y stuff like Rilo Kiley’s Breakin’ Up.
Beautiful Day – U2
Steady On – Storyhill
Also pretty much anything by Simon & Garfunkel, Crosby Stills & Nash, or CCR.
@Buttonstc lurve for Movin’ Right Along! The Rainbow Connection is another of my favorites.
@ElleBee Lol No Rain is so depressing. That guy committed suicide. It’s no surprise when you listen to the lyrics in the song.
@le_inferno : I’d have to take that as an opinion ;) The reason why I love that song is here :)
It’s a Good Day by FFH. I love this line:
Say hey, it’s good day even though things aren’t goin’ my way.
Jesus is Lord and I am saved, so
Say hey, it’s a good day.
Oh wait that’d be more like 3 lines. But they act like one line. Whatev.
@ElleBee Aww, cute story in the other thread! Like @le_inferno I find “No Rain” depressing, but only because it was sung to me too many times by an ex-girlfriend who dumped me later. Hahaha. :D
@fireinthepriory : Awh, thanks so much! :) But yes a bad association can ruin things easily and effectively :(
