Why does a big greasy hamburger seem so appropriate if I happen to have had a little to much to drink the night before?

Not that I eat much meat, or drink that much. But on those rare occasions, I find this to be true. Am I the only one?

Because it goes along with the disgusting amount of alcohol you had.
Definitely not the only one! I’m very partial to a bacon, hash brown and tomato sauce sandwich washed down with some full fat Coke! I’ve been known to have the odd greasy burger for brunch too ;)
I find the sugar and carbonation in coke helps settle my stomach, plus the sugar hit is just what you need after lots to drink. Grease has a similar affect on the stomach I believe, or at least helps soak up some of the alcohol.
I am a gravy on french fries type of guy.
Fat helps with the effects of a hangover because the body’s processes are attending to digestion rather than alcohol elimination but it only delays the inevitable.
Just remember that hamburger now contains ammonia treated Pink Slime I don’t think I will ever eat hamburger again.

Time to buy a meat grinder
@SeventhSense I think that’s the only way I could eat it. Isn’t there an attachment for the Kitchenaid?
There’s lots of options out there. Probably better meat too that way.
What happened to your hangover?
