I want to put a part of one photo into another photo. Does anyone have any experience photo shopping?

I have two photos. In one there is a circular logo that I want to insert into a picture of me. I downloaded picassa but I can’t seem to easily figure this out. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be helpful. Thank you
