Those old commercials during the Super Bowl, was big money paid to air them?
I was wondering do anyone knows if those TV commercials we have seen aired the past month or more that ends up airing during the Super Bowl did they actually spend a million or more to air those old commercials are they got a lucky break to fill un-purchased slots in the commercial break line up?

@Trillian For some old tired commercial everyone has seen for months? what a waste of cash. You don’t spend bucks like that unless you have a NEW one to daybute.
Debut.
Why are you being adversarial with me? You asked a question, I answered it, courteously I might add, and even gave you a source. You don’t have to like it, but if you disagree I’m not the one to argue with.
@Trillian I am not I thought you were including those old one Ihave seen for months, the new ones I know they were shelling out boat loads of cash to air 1st at the Super Bowl.
@Hypocrisy_Central I have this source because I work for kgb_. I did not read the whole link but it will probably break down for you further. It isn’t how old the commercial is that matters, it’s the airtime during the bowl, as i understand it. I don’t claim to understand how these decisions are reached…
$3 million dollars a minute for a commercial.
@john65pennington For an old commercial that might have aired on Oprah weeks ago for ⅓ the price!?! eyes bulging I know I seen some of thosde commercial weeks ago so why waste a millions on a commercial people seen during Judge Judy for a fraction of the cost? What is the benefit of having someone see it on the Super Bowl at that price unless they felt it got missed during Judge Judy and Modern Family etc?
