Is it possible to play xbox 360 over LAN with just one copy of the game?

I have never used the xbox 360 LAN mode before, and have no clue about it. I was thinking the major drawback would be that you would need two copies of the game, one for each xbox. Am I right in this?

no, unless you have a modded box that has the game on the hard drive, yes you will need two copies of the game to play over a LAN. Its just like online. everyone has to have a copy of the game.

No, sorry, each person will need their own copy of the game, even if it is installed to their harddrive.
