Are Conté Crayons still made with Cuttlefish ink?

I read recently that in certain drawing media (Conté Crayons was the one mentioned), the color sepia is made with the ink of the Cuttlefish. Is this still done, and isn’t that rather inhumane?

This article makes no mention of cuttlefish ever having been used in their making.
I am referring specifically to the Sepia (Brownish) tones of Conte Crayon.
This definition seems to imply that they are no longer made with cuttlefish ink.
Phew… Was about to go all animal rights on them :P

Unless you are (and that’s an extremely strict standard) I’m trying to figure out (logically speaking) why this is any worse than tons of other ways in which animals of all sorts are exploited both for food or their byproducts.
Even IF the ink were being used for crayons, its pretty unlikely they are being killed solely for the ink. Squid is a pretty popular dish, particularly in Meditteranean countries and Japan and to a lesser extent here in the States. I’m sure that many more are killed for food usage.
