What groups do you mean? Google groups? Groups of contacts? Please elaborate.
Not that I’m aware of… I thought initially that you could use the Google apps suite via Safari (google.com/m) and send to a group but that doesn’t seem to be working. (Just set a test one up and tried both to send to that group and search for that contact… no luck)
since I can’t use iPhone mail to send to groups (unbelievable), i was wondering if gmail had some sort of group alias or something
If you make a google group you can send to that….but I’m not sure what group you are referring to.
I’m using “group” as in iphone mail group (or distribution list), which are the same as mail.app groups, except on the iphone you can’t email the whole group at once. Since Google seems to think of everything, I wondered if you could create groups in gmail somehow to get around this (mygmailusername_mygroupname@gmail.com) or something like that. I don’t know. I just can’t believe u can’t send to a group from the iphone.
Yea I don’t think this is possible w/Gmail. I know that if you have your own domain name and sign up for google’s Free hosted email services (myName@MyDomain.com) that you can set up aliases like this with ease.
