No, I’m serious. What shape of hand would you use and where would you hit them? Why is that the place as well?

I prefer the turning the other cheek.
I wouldn’t bother with your hand. A longer, harder, and more properly weighted object would be much more appropriate for striking someone in the face. Leverage and other principles play a role. Also, using something other than your hand will give you a range advantage, meaning you can get at them, but they can’t reach you. The only thing you would have to worry about is escalation with ensuing encounters.
Hit the lower jawbone (just off the chin) from the side. It will break quite easily with a closed fist.
I have absolutely no idea. I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.
If you protrude your middle knuckle outward from the rest, then a well placed shot to the soft temple will make their eyes spinout. But hit a bullseye or you’ll break your finger against the skull.
Open palm upward into the nose will send blood flying everywhere. Follow through with the hit. Careful, you might kill them, driving shards of bone into the brain.
Karate chop to the larynx will choke them enough to either get away or proceed to clasp the back of their head and pull their face down into your rising knee.

Um, why do you want to know this? Be forewarned, that open hand/nose strike described above can definitely kill someone. Don’t do it unless your life depends on it.
