It’s not like you ever see ads for openings. I know you take the civil service exam, but how do you get a job after that? Do they contact you, or what? And how does one go about taking the exam?

Easy. You need to take a civil service exam….Oh, I see you know that.
Did you go to the usps and ask?
@davidbetterman HA! Changed the question on you! It’s worded better this way, anyway. Yes, the USPS said, “Take the civil service exam,” but that doesn’t tell me much! Where do you go to get the exam? After that, what can you expect?
You know, I could have changed the question to read, “How do you make chocolate chip cookies,” so your answer would have made everyone go “Whaaaa?” :) But I didn’t!
If you still can, do it!!! that would be so kewl!
Love it! But too late! :)
Call AstroChuck for a reference.
I’m afraid you are not likely to be able to take the postal entrance exam. The USPS is in the process of drastically down-sizing its workforce. I don’t see them hiring anytime in the foreseeable future.
Sorry.
I’d hate to ruin your life by getting a postal job.
J/k. Of course I’d help you if I could.
@AstroChuck It’s just something I’m kicking around on behalf of my daughter….
