I thought it was some sort of traditional island tattoo… but I’m not really sure.

By the way, if you know who he is… let me know.

I don’t know about the tattoos, sorry, but if you find out who he is let me know too. Don’t worry, he’s too young for me, but he is totally hot!

As, to the tattoos. It looks like they are maybe based on or inspired by tradition “tribal” tattoo designs, but not necessarily authentic traditional aboriginal tattoos. That’s just a guess.

@troubleinharlem The flowers on his shoulders are traditional tribal tattoos. I think you get them as a rite of passage into manhood in South Pacific tribes. I distinctly remember watching a NatGeo program about it, but the details are hazy. I think it was an episode of Taboo.

No idea for the chestpiece.

I don’t know but I want ‘em and the man too. We’re so off the topic here

He is hot! Um, what was the question? Is it warm in here?

lillycoyote's avatar

@Simone_De_Beauvoir when a man like that walks into a room (or onto a website), he is the topic.

@lillycoyote: Agreed.

I know exactly what kinds of tattoos those are! Those are the have-an-excuse-for-staring-at-him tattoos!

I don’t need an excuse…yum
