Now really, what do you think?

Really, Melissa, do you think diet pills are the healthy way to go?

And if diet pills really worked and were healthy, wouldn’t everyone be on them instead of them just being featured in over-flashy commercials with too-good-to-be-true offers hawked by B-list celebrities?

Best way is to check with your doctor from the start, who can refer you to a nutritionist & trainer if need be.

Healthy diet of course. There is no magical way to do it :)

Eat less and exercise more . Burn more calories by exercising than you take in by eating. Do it slowly.

@lucillelucillelucille how do you determine what’s healthy for you and what’s not. I have always thought that fresh fruits and juices are healthy but to a diabetic person in some degree it is poison.

@worriedguy eating less and excersing more is also a killer combination if not properly executed….

Healthy eating – lots of fresh fruit and veg – and exercise of course.

Well you could always overeat until you qualify for bariatric surgery.

@Likeradar I feel that they are dangerous personally, healthy eating is best. Everyday we hear about how those pills are hurting more than helping.

MorenoMelissa1's avatar

@lightlyseared that would be unwise and dangerous.

@MorenoMelissa1 and yet people still do it…

Cmon, the answer should be pretty obvious. “Diet pills” even sounds awful.

@MorenoMelissa1 I thought you were asking… seems like you already know.

Although I’m not against them, diet pills only help you lose weight temperarily. You lose a lot at once but saddly gain twice as much back. :(

it’s not worth it.

@njnyjobs -Everything in moderation :) I’ve been type 1 diabetic for 20 years and moderation is the best way for me.

I would personally prefer doing it the natural way, by watching what you eat, and choosing healthy stuff. If pills are that appealing though, you might want to get advice from a doctor about the pills you choose and all.

Stay away from pills. It’s exercise and healthy eating habits.

The pills are shit. Xenical is presently the only one I trust, and its feeble. The surgery works, but hell…..

Natural is always best if you can do it. Natural does not mean purchased from the web or health food store.

The most natural is a stint in Zimbabwe with malaria.
