1gb iPod shuffle stolen, looking for something else with good sound quality, under $60, has 1–2gb storage and which can easily sync with iTunes. iPod Nano seems too expensive to take around running; need something that can withstand a drop or two every now and then (which my old shuffle could do). New iPod shuffle is $59 but has terrible reviews since you have to use Apple’s headphones and apparently these stop working when exposed to any moisture (e.g. sweat). Old iPod shuffle available on Amazon but it’s a bit expensive $80, and I’m skeptical of buying on craigslist since I’d have no idea what kind of condition they’d be in. Any help would be appreciated.

The Sansa Clip seems to have the best reviews, but I don’t recall how well it plays with iTunes.
I’d look for a 2nd generation iPod shuffle refurbished. They run about 50$ on Apple’s site, and have always been reliable for me.
They’re the little square ones without the headphone controls, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
@dverhey Yeah I think that’d be the best option, considering the Sansa doesn’t sync with iTunes, and I really don’t want to have to deal with a whole new platform; plus the old Shuffle worked really well, etc.
If you buy songs from the iTunes store, the Apple players are much easier to use because few others can play the store’s m4p or m4a files.
If you have MP3s, you can copy files onto the Sansa Clip like it’s a USB flash drive (which it is).
For the 2d generation Shuffle, I would go to eBay.
I would go for a second hand iPod. Though I don’t know where to find one.
just go with a referb ipod shuffle, i have two of them and they are the easiest things to use, plus they are under 60 bucks
