For those of you who watched, what did you think of this year's Olympics overall?

Must say, I’ll never forget this one! Pretty darn proud of my country – the land of beer and beavers.

I am proud of you, Canada.
I give it a B. There were some technical difficulties and a death. The weather kind of sucked, but that couldn’t be helped. I am glad that there wasn’t much of a time difference. Plus you guys won more gold medals than any country, ever there in the land of beer, beavers and hockey
I was kinda pissed at the the three hour delay on TV even though the games were in the same time zone I am in. But that was NBC being stupid.
I don’t remember seeing that many crashes in any Olympics.
It was just OK for me. When is a network going to wise up and find someone more engaging than a Bob Kostas to be the main talking head. zzzzzzzzzz
@johnpowell
I think that was NBC taking enough time to edit it to make the US look better. Maybe
Hockey final was insane! :)
Shaun White is the snowboard master. Canada was a good host. Not a bad winter Olympics at all. Curling was seriously boring.
Not watched hardly any of it. Watched a little Hockey last night while waiting for something better to come on t.v, but that’s all.
@Bluefreedom bah! Curling – it’s all strategic! I loved it!!
Patriotic Canuck and I can’t help it. “Sorry”..
Canada: The best country in North America
I hated the way NBC did the coverage: jumping from sport to sport, and keeping the events late at night.
NBC’s coverage was either hit or miss, good on some stories, lousy on others. The host country did one heck of a job, especially considering how uncooperative the weather was. The bobsled track, after they fixed the defect was amazing. We need to rethink speed or design of the sleds. This is getting dangerous, but that’s half the fun. How about an A or A minus at the lowest.
That really is a shame @marinelife. We had great coverage here. We all day (and evening) coverage here. Three of the main Canadian networks covered it and they each would cover an event in it’s entirety.
It had some great moments and some bad ones. This is the first time I watched more than 50% of a Winter Olympics and I enjoyed it a lot. Shawn White was amazing. Lysacek was also amazing. And the gold medal hockey game was of the hook!
Just hoping the Olympic Committee will decide to make more exciting sports like ~~curling an event. I get so tired of watching snowboarders doing quadruple flips and downhill racers skiing at 100 miles per hour.
Perhaps a new event could be making snow angels, or ice sculpting.
Curling is an exciting sport? It’s more like a way to pass the time while you’re waiting to die.
The little I did see wasn’t much different from past Olympiads.
Overall, a B+ rating. weather was unpredictible, jumping from one event to the other in flash time was a worry, but overall a B+. our neighbors really did put on a good show. way to go Canada!
I boycotted ski jumping for banning the girls, but I don’t think anybody noticed. Curling and hockey are what I followed most closely and I found them most engaging! And I will never forget, as Bob Costas was quick to point out: “the always enjoyable, giant, inflatable beaver.”
It was fun. Canada cleaned house.
Some have accused Canada of buying their medals but that’s just people being bitter.
I like our northern neighbors and they deserve their successes.
I didn’t understand the point of broadcast tape delays for west coast US viewers. If your in the same time zone, you should have the option of live coverage.
I was impressed by the messages that were transmitted during the two ceremonies
By the multiculturalism acceptance, origins presentation etc.
About sports I liked the curling tournament which was really spectacular
I am an olympics fan boy. I loved every second of it. NBC could have done a better job but that’s ok.
Lillehammer is beautiful.
