Do you prefer Twitter or Plurk for social timelining for work and/or personal use?
If you use social timeline tools, do you Plurk or Twitter? Why do you prefer one over the other? What are some tips for using one or both? And how can you use it with work?

To put it simply: Wtf is Plurk?
I use Twitter, have never used or even heard of Plurk though.
Thanks to this question I have checked out Plurk. Interesting. I hardly ever use Twitter and I’m not so sure I’ll ever use Plurk.
I used Plurk when it first came out and it definitely has some advantages over Twitter but I prefer Twitter and still use it today. Maybe later I will consider changing to Plurk.
Plurk is for friends and fun, Twitter is for work, or community organizing, or for following important global news.
I’m still trying to decide which has the sillier name.
Plurk has a silly name, but a kind of a nice concept for organizing “conversations”, using time-lines. The only thing I find counterintuitive about it is that the past is to your right.
@dpworkin Yeah, that threw me off at first.
So… I can be a Plurking Twit now.
