I think answering is better because you can be way more sarcastic.
Great answer gets you 5 Lurve. Great Question gets you 3.
I guess that means answering is better.
See? He said as he clicked GQ.
Asking is better if you don’t know something – and answering is better if you know something. Even if some people seem to do it the other way around…
I get peeved with people that only ask and never add something to other peoples questions. It needs to go both ways. You don’t need to help with fixing someones TV but everyone has a opinion on the best Ice Cream.
People that only ask and never give destroys the sense of community. It is like being with a lover that passes out after they get off.
Anybody can throw down an answer…asking takes more guts.
@johnpowell: I kinda feel that way about people who only answer but never ask too. It’s like they can dish it out but they can’t take it.
Both are needed to keep the site going. Everyone should contribute to both asking and answering.
I’ve been a lot more successful answering questions on Fluther as opposed to asking them. It’s not like I’m not inquisitive or anything. I’m just not as good as others here in formulating nice material to ask the rest of the Jellies. Maybe it’s time for a change.
Is sitting better than standing? Is a side part better than a middle one?
@janbb: So nu? You need to ask?
@gailcalled O.k. – I’ll blink. Why does a Jew always answer a question with a question?
@KatawaGrey :: I still look at this as a Q&A site. I don’t really have many questions. I don’t really care if anyone likes sour cream on their burrito. And I can figure out if the cute boy in my math class likes me.
Most of my questions are about computer stuff. And there are better places to ask those.
It depends on your talent and ability. I am a very poor asker, so I mostly answer.
