I am making a iMovie of still photos of all the grandchildren in the family. What would be a good background song to use.

How about Pachelbels Canon?

Hawaiian music (not the orchestral kind) or mellow instrumental bluegrass is usually pretty good for that kind of stuff. Something that is string instrument based and kind of rolls along. I find Hawaiian is relaxing and puts a smile on your face at the same time.
Two of my examples here
Look up Ledward Kaapana on iTunes store.
Israel Kamakawikawole – “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”

Butterfly, by Donavon Frankenreiter
“Picture Book” by the kinks.
drum and bass, hardcore techno, acid house, speedcore, dubstep

Get the Cookie Monster, but not the Devil! Grover might be a good choice, as well.
