Two fer $10, I think. ;-)
in before serious sterotype responses…
the funny thing is It doesnt matter how tall u are( I.e. 6’ 11”) there is always a tee taller..rofl
Yep, funny how people forgot there was the word “tunic”, even though it used to be all the rage, like 600 years ago. The wheel of fashion turns again… ;-)
it’s “thug” culture. The look is supposed to emulate prison clothes (see also: sagging jeans) where there are generally two sizes, S and L, that are supposed to fit most everyone , so more times than not, guys in the penal system wind up with ill-fitting, often oversized clothes while they’re locked up.
So, urban fashion copies this look so guys can look tough, like they’re so bad-assed they’ve been to jail.
oh, the same with the VERY white sneakers. They’re supposed to resemble prison issued shoes.
its funny how they wear saggy pants because the “fashion statement” came from inmates if they were all for getting it in the booty they would sag their pants. how funny all ” thugs” seem to want it in the butt
haha @ annaott22: that was a fantastic answer.
Stuff12 did u ever think that the deal with the “ghetto kids” is that theyre from the ghetto? All u people make me sad cuz u dont understand people who grew up in different environent than u. We dress like that cuz we dont like wearing tight jeans and shirts that u can’t even breathe in. U go 2 the hood with that tight ish on and you’ll b the minority being looked down upon, and u might get shot cuz the “ghetto kids” r ghetto like that.
To each his own. I prefer tight jeans for comfort, baggy jeans always make me feel like I’m not wearing anything and I get enough of that kind of thing on vacation and in nightmares.
I prefer the company of people who aren’t possibly going to try to shoot me because of my shirt size. Call me insensitive…
he says they dress like that because “they’re” from the ghetto! I went to the most ghetto school in Georgia but I’m not a thug. It just happened to be the closest school to where I lived so don’t pull that ” I’ve been raised on the ghetto” crap with me because I’m from the ghetto and I choose not to dress like that! Its not that great of a statement or at least I don’t think so.
Or you could move to the suburbs and be shot for going to school. Don’t be prejudice. People make clothes not the other way around. Ignorant people are always the first to ridicule and make light of things that are different or they don’t understand. Step outside your bubble people.
Are tall tees really any more ridiculous then any other fashion trend? Ugg boots look ridiculous to me. And how about stonewashed jeans anybody? Have we all forgotten the 80’s up in here? That entire decade was ridiculous
