A newborn baby,inside of a new car,freshly baked bread mmmm.What gets you’re nostrils flaring.

Chocolate-chip cookies in the oven!
Smell of hot pizza with pineapple and melted cheese! Mmmmm..
Coffee.
Now I need to go make some.
Roses, that clean linen smell, lilies, motor oil, bbq chicken pizza, fresh-cut grass.
I’m feeling some baby pangs at the moment (seriously), so Dove’s Baby Soap, Ivory Snow and clean baby smell. =) (@Grisaille volunteered to be the baby daddy. Turkey baster anyone?)
Oh, and lavender.
Gasoline.
Fresh paint.
Match smoke.
Cigarettes before they are lit.
My dog’s paws.
If anyone could explain to me why my dog’s paws smell good, and how I came to know this, I’m all ears.
@absalom It’s like when my dog is wet,gorgeous smell but don’t know why.
Roses, jasmine (there has always been a lot of jasmine at every house associated with my family, my mom loves it and puts it everywhere), freshly-cut grass, that “wet” smell after it rains (reminds me of my grandmother’s house for some reason), my cats, my favorite stuffed cat, this smell that my vacation home at Tahoe has and everything that we bring there seems to absorb, etc.
The smell of the air a couple hours before it rains. Sooo good. And the smell of blown out candles is fantastic.
Oh, and lemon Pledge. Mmmm.

The protective plastic freshly pulled from a new iPhone’s screen.
Freshly poured wheat beer.
Baby powder (but I do discriminate between different baby powders / baby powder scented items. Baby powder deodorant, for instance, is usually terrible, while the smell of a freshly-hatched Cabbage Patch doll from the 80s is awesome).
Baking bread.
Vanilla (again, I discriminate between chemically-smelling vanilla products and authentic-smelling vanilla products).
Whatever plastic it is that they often use to make, say, a pig’s nose on a string to put over your own nose, and certain other toys.
I like a lover’s neck. That’s nice.

The smell of pipe smoke. Any kind of baking, but bread in particular. Coffee, especially Gloria Jeans in the mall, and my Starbucks. The first whiff of a struck match, the stick kind. The first whiff of gasoline at the pump.

Pipe smoke brings me immediately back to my childhood kitchen and Channel #5 reminds me of my grandmother.

Morning smells are great. When you go outside in the early morning and it’s all dewy and misty on the grass, it smells wonderful.
