Steve Martin (please god no) & Alec Baldwin get the gig this year.I heard Sacha Baron Cohen was due to parody Avatar,something along the lines of an over budgeted Smurf remake.Blue guys, adventures & so on.Cameron apparently was not impressed so they pulled the plug, so to speak.Anyway back on track,who would you have chosen as the ideal host or hosts?

I would like to see Jerry Seinfeld
@rebbel Yeah & the fat guy naked.Fuck, half the front row would have a heart attack.
Simon Cowell. He could make fun of all the young presenters this year.
The Muslim woman who was denied boarding a flight.
Wanda Sykes.
I’ll watch with a beer in hand and Salma Hayek on my lap.
Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
They way they act around each other off-screen is so charming.
They are both hilarious as well.
Oh man. That would be perfect.
Yesss… Zooey Deschanel and here sister Emily. Emily is so hot!
That’s simple….Billy Crystal…
I’m a purist.
@ChazMaz Holy crap. I did not know that Bones is Zooey’s sister!
The entire cast of Always Sunny, in character.
There’s only one host who could get me to watch the Oscars: Howard Stern
William Shatner: “I… will be… the greatest Oscar’s host… ever!”
Uwe Boll. His movies are better than most shit coming out of hollywood’s arse.
@ragingloli His movies are the shit coming out of Hollywood’s ass.
@erichw1504
He did not do the star wars prequels, the recent star trek movie, the transformers movies or any of those romantic comedy tripe that is constantly produced.
Epic Beard Man could host the awards and I still wouldn’t be interested unless he punches the shit out of Roman Polanski. I might watch then.
Also the new Star Trek was cool and I don’t think that makes me dumb.
@ragingloli OK, but he did do BloodRayne, Alone in the Dark, House of the Dead, and In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. Among other crap.
Also, the 2009 Trek film was amazing.
@erichw1504
the 2009 star trek film was the biggest pile of lensflared garbage that year.
@ragingloli Are you a fan of the original films and TV show? Because I’ve never seen any of them and maybe that’s why seeing this film was different for me since it is a modern take on it.
Ahh Stephen Hawking a fine candidate.Not technically a mime, more of a speak & spell toy.But let’s not get pickie.
Seth McFarlane and Barbara Walters.
He can be brilliant while she just looks lost.
I loved watching Johnny Carson, Bob Hope, and Billy Crystal. They were all perfect.
I enjoyed Jon Stewart and Whoopie Goldberg, and they would be welcomed back.
Jim Carey might be too crazy. Robin Williams too unpredictable.
Let’s get Stephen Colbert.
Seth Rogen and Adam Sandler
Oh wait…wait…forget my previous answer….I thought of a great team…Rachel Maddow and Glenn Beck. ;) That would be a looooooong show.
@darlingrhadamanthusen That would be terrible having to listen to that horrid, whiney, bitch fighting with Rachel!
